About W.E.B. Du Bois Centre
The African-American scholar and civil rights leader W.E.B. Du Bois moved to Ghana at the invitation of Kwame Nkrumah and spent his final years here. His house in Cantonments is now a centre and museum, with his library, personal belongings and his grave. It is a meaningful visit, especially for diaspora travellers.
