About Keta Lagoon & Fort Prinzenstein

Keta lies on a narrow strip of land between the Atlantic and Ghana's largest lagoon, rich in birdlife. Fort Prinzenstein, built by the Danes in the 1780s, is partly ruined by erosion but still tells the story of the slave trade on this coast. Nearby Anloga hosts the Hogbetsotso festival each November.
